A keke napep rider and an eager mother kicked the bucket yesterday at Okota hub of the state after a vehicle smashed into them. Two youngsters supported wounds.
An assertion by LASTMA’s Overseer of Public Undertakings and Edification, Taofiq Adebayo, affirmed this.
As indicated by Kehinde Hassan, Policeman of Okota Zone 27, driver of a blue TOYOTA Sienna transport (AKD 944 HN) was captured for driving against traffic at Back Castle Way. A cop joined with the watch group, elected to accompany him to LASTMA office for legitimate booking.
“On their way, the driver attempted to escape by redirecting into Bayo Oyewale Road by Prior indirect, in the process he slammed into a completely stacked tricycle. While the rider kicked the bucket right away, the hopeful mother passed on at the emergency clinic. Two youngsters who supported wounds are presently in Emergency unit.
“The office sympathizes with the deprived families, and commitments that careful examination would be finished and a fair outcome given fittingly,” he added.
