House officers at Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LUTH), yesterday, raised the alarm over poor working conditions and the death of a house officer, Dr. Umoh Michael, for allegedly working for 72 hours.

Dr Michael supposedly passed on September 17, subsequent to being on a 72-hour-bring in the Neurosurgery Unit. He was said to have been on stand by for the length prior to getting back on Sunday morning for chapel gathering, and drooped in his love place (Joined Fervent Church) at around 11:00a.m.

In a letter kept in touch with the Main Clinical Chief, LUTH, Prof. Wasiu Lanre Adeyemo by clinical specialists under the aegis of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), LUTH section, said the late specialist’s flat mate confirmed the way that the departed had barely rested in their loft for the beyond multi week.

They asserted that Dr. Michael was consistently on call and had gotten back after medical procedures and different exercises in the Neurosurgery unit at around 3:00a.m.
