Equity M. Itsueli of Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State on Monday, September 4, 2023 indicted and condemned four web fraudsters to jail for misrepresentation.
The convicts are Edah Edison, Akuche Cosmas Chigozie (moniker Philip Anderson), Chidi, Iredia Perseverance Swirl and Uchechukwu Triumph Tabowei.
They were summoned independently on one count charge of pantomime, ownership of deceitful reports and getting by misleading notion by the Benin Zonal Order of the Monetary and Monetary Violations Commission, EFCC.
They were captured in view of knowledge which connected them to supposed web related extortion exercises. During examination, Edison, 23, who professed to be a college graduate was found to have imitated Raymond Martin, a Bitcoin broker to swindle clueless casualties.
